Anodeflex Tee kits are designed as a 3-way connection to ensure electrical continuity for Anodeflex linear anode products. The kits consists of a Tee assembly factory crimped and sealed as a unit. Parts required to make the splice to the linear anode are included in the full kits. The kits are universal to all Anodeflex products.
The Anodeflex in-line splice kits are designed to connect and seal Anodeflex linear anode products from reel-reel or length-length. The kits are universal to all Anodeflex products.
The Anodeflex end cap kits are designed to seal the exposed termination end of Anodeflex linear anode products.
The kits are universal to all Anodeflex products. The kits for all of the above products include heat-shrinkable tubing, sealant and accessories that are suitable to make, seal and protect the splices or terminations in direct burial soil applications. The longterm performance of Anodeflex products is conditional upon keeping the base copper conductor, anode and electrical connections isolated from water. Only Seal for Life designed kits are recommended for any Anodeflex products.
The heat-shrinkable components are made of an irradiation crosslinked polyethylene. A sealing mastic is wrapped during installation, which then flows when heated. When the heat-shrink sleeve or cap are heated with a small torch or a heat gun, they shrink tightly around the anode and melt the mastic allowing it to flow and seal. Once installed, the system withstands the normal wear and tear of a construction environment and is extremely corrosion resistant.
The installation is easy and can be completed in few minutes by a trained technician.
